波音海上系統在 1973 年開發了第一艘商用的客運噴射水翼船。基於波音水翼船航行穩定性佳，獲得乘客良好口碑。
929 近年多活躍於港澳，日本本土離島及日韓航線等。

Boeing Marine Systems developed the commercial passenger jetfoil in 1973. Since the excellent stability, Boeing 929 Jetfoils have earned a positive reputation among passengers.
In recent years, the 929 has been active on routes between Hong Kong and Macau, between Japan's outlying islands, also between Japan and South Korea.

從港外線渡輪上拍攝剛離開上環港澳碼頭的海皇星號，港外線渡輪可更近距離觀看正在加速離開水面的 929。
Photographed from the maindeck of an outlying islands route ferry while Horta is just after leaving Macau Ferry in Sheung Wan. The outlying islands route ferry ferry provided a closer angle of observating the 929 jetfoils as it accelerated out of the water.

港澳渡輪服務深受港珠澳大橋通車和疫情雙重打擊，錫星號暫時是唯一一艘能重投服務的 929。
The Hong Kong-Macau ferry service has been hit hard by the opening of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge and the pandemic. Terceira is currently the only 929 jetfoil returned to service.

幸運星暫時仍是閒置狀態。
Cacilhas is still idle for the time being in shipyard.

帝皇星號由皇家海軍 HMS Speedy 改裝為民用 929-115 型加入噴射飛航船隊，非至尊船配置的帝皇星號最終在 2021 年被拆解。
Lilau was converted from the Royal Navy's HMS Speedy to the civilian 929-115 and joined TurboJet's fleet. As Lilau was not in Premier Jetfoil configuration, it was eventually being scrapped in 2021.

基於海況，交通等多方面因素，站在同一位置拍攝的起飛情形亦有不同。
Due to various factors such as sea conditions and traffic, the "take-off" situation may be different even photographing from the same location.

美國製造！ 鐵星號與提康德羅加級飛彈巡洋艦 CG-62 錢斯勒斯維爾號 出現在同一個鏡頭中。
TEAM U.S.A. ! Urzela is in the same shot with Ticonderoga-class cruiser USS Chancellorsville CG-62.

唯一一艘獲升級為至尊噴射船的 929-100 銀星號亦難免遭退役拆解的命運。
Sao Jorge, the only 929-100 upgraded to a Premier Jetfoil, also faced the fate of being decommissioned and dismantled in 2024.

過往港澳渡輪的頻密班次下，要拍攝波音 929 合照並沒有難度。
Under the frequent service between Hong Kong and Macau in the past, it was no difficulties to capture shots with two Boeing 929.
